Medicore Covers submitted by Meginator on July 1, 2011, 1:33pm I had high hopes for this album, but I have found others in the "Punk Goes..." series to be somewhat disappointing. However, unlike most of the other albums, this one contains a slate of "covers" that barely deserve the term; I don't think a single artist on this volume added something significantly new to the (admittedly brilliant) originals they were working from. Take a classic song, speed it up, add some different guitar effects, and you've got yourself a ready-made cover fit for this album. The music isn't bad, per se, just bland; why listen to this album when the originals are great the way they are?

Awesome submitted by mrajraspn08 on June 14, 2014, 10:06am Some of these covers were only so-so, but some were surprisingly good--it's a toss-up to me which version of "Free Fallin'" I like better. More classic than punk, which was my only disappointment, but still good and worth a listen.
