"Paul Moses was quietly retired--until his former employers decided he was too dangerous to live. But while the CIA might have forgotten his training, Moses hasn't. When a kill team interrupts his solitude, he changes his status from green to red. As the bodies pile up, the men who set this ruthless killer back into action sit safe in their Langley offices. At least, that's their intention--Moses has a different plan" --Publisher description.

COMMUNITY REVIEWS

An exercise in violence submitted by Pumpkinscones on July 16, 2013, 4:55pm I've not seen the movie but I imagine it is not a jot like this book. This is one of those books that can get made by established writers when they have a point they want to make/they have an idea that won't serialize/they need a little more cash. Dunno which of the three this one falls into, but I think the first. It moves along nicely, has an interesting enough protaganist and enough violence/catchy lines to satisfy a 13 year old. The art is adequate if not particularly special, but there are a couple of fantastic panels, mostly with slo-mo bullets. Not one I would buy to put on the shelf unless I was a completely rabid Ellis fan, but worth a borrow and ponder.
