Wonderful Read

This is a great novel about family and acceptance of a relative you may not have liked before, and the interesting card game of bridge. A great book for those who like reading about family, or enjoy Louis Sachar's humor and writing skill.

Good Book

Looks at life through the game of bridge which might seem boring, but Sachar eases you through the basics with skill and humor. Another good book by a good author.

This was a great book filled with adventure, grief, and love!!!! I recommend it to all!!!!

Loved it

Different from most books on family

loved it

an awesome book

Great book!

A great story about learning to like someone, however reluctant you may be. If you are the least bit interested in card games, especially bridge,OR the topic of families by choice and birth, I highly recommend this book.
