often overlooked story of divorce and dating for older women - excellent! submitted by mmckenzie on July 9, 2015, 12:56pm This is a lovely movie about the complications of divorce and dating for older women. Perfect mix of fun and poignant moments. Settings are gorgeous, especially the restaurant and house in the California hills. My fav scenes are making chocolate croissants and the party. Don't want to spoil it and tell you more. :-)

(Of course it's not for kids.)

Fun, Raunchy Rom-Com submitted by Meginator on July 12, 2017, 1:58pm This is a fun romantic comedy with some surprisingly raunchy moments and plenty of fun twists to the tried-and-true romantic comedy formula. The cast is excellent and clearly enjoys their work here; I was surprised (but, in retrospect, shouldn't have been) by how hilarious Meryl Streep can be while hamming it up like this. It is refreshing to see a film like this that focuses on older people, rather than the ubiquitous twenty- and thirty-somethings, and the film should appeal to adults of all ages. Is this fine cinema? No, but "It's Complicated" is a lot of fun. I'll definitely watch it again.
