gets better in second season

I started watching "Angel" when I finished watching the entire "Buffy" series and I wanted more. Initially I was disappointed with "Angel" but it just took the series a little while to find its rhythm. By second season it was rolling really well. Not quite as laugh-outloud funny as "Buffy," but still entertaining.

I watched this show to go along with watching "Buffy" because sometimes the storylines overlap and you can find out more things. Other than that, it can get a little boring at times, and unless you're a huge fan of the character of "Angel," it's not great. There are still some good moments, and Cordelia is always good for some funny lines. Not my favorite series though.
