Animal Homes submitted by SBNB on June 27, 2014, 1:36pm This book is better for older babies as the homes need to be matched to the animal.
ok submitted by poptart887 on July 25, 2016, 7:58am better for children who can match the two sets of pages. young children are not interested in this.

Interactive and Nicely Artistic submitted by Meginator on June 16, 2023, 11:14pm This interactive book asks readers to match the animal homes from its top half with the animals on its bottom half. Its simplicity works well for young audiences, although the book somewhat bizarrely omits providing names for the animals, showing text only for the homes, and some animals actually live in multiple places (the mouse, for example, could plausibly fit with the barn, the tree, or the burrow). The illustrations are characteristically gorgeous, with a lot of physical texture and a brilliant use of color to provide detail, contrast, and depth. While it feels a bit incomplete and surprisingly ambiguous, young animal lovers should enjoy flipping the pages to find the matching sets, and readers of all ages can take a moment to appreciate Eric Carleās wonderfully imaginative artistic style.
