Set in futuristic Metro City. When a brilliant scientist's young son dies, he secretly creates a powerful robot boy he names Astro Boy. Unable to fulfill the grieving man's expectations, Astro Boy embarks on a journey in search of acceptance. Along his way he experiences betrayal and a netherworld of robot gladiators, before he returns to save Metro City and reconcile with the father who had rejected him.

Astroboy submitted by jibkidder on July 26, 2022, 9:19am Adapted from a manga character, this is an action packed kids film that could have been made better by focusing more on the tensions between Astroboy, the robot warrior whose strongest feature is that he has a cannon in his butt, and his father (Nick Cage) who turned him into a robot after he died in an accident.
