He's a Hell of a Butler submitted by Dragonessa on December 3, 2010, 8:10pm This has to be one of the most beautiful manga I have ever read. The artwork is absolutely stunning and the storyline is fascinating. I really enjoyed the designs of the characters, especially Ciel Phantomhive and Sebastian Michaelis his demonic (and downright sexy) butler. This is a must for all fans of gothic manga like Godchild, Angel Sanctuary, and others.

Slow Start, but Sinister submitted by Brad B. on December 13, 2010, 12:17pm This series, admittedly, starts off rather boring: Vacuous dinner parties; a butler who has to make sure everything is set for social engagements and who is always, seemingly, perfect. Then, near the end of the first volume, it turns suddenly sinister and you understand. This is a horror manga, and in that vein it succeeds brilliantly. You just have to give it a little time to get going.

Amazing and beautiful. submitted by Rin on June 18, 2011, 10:16am This is, without a doubt, one of my favorite manga. The art is gorgeous, the plot has a good mix of sinister and humorous, and it is just, overall, one hell of a (demonic) manga. I find the manga to be much preferable to the anime, which seems to go off on wild tangents (that Queen Victoria stuff? Really? And I'm not even going to mention season two.) Though there are historical inaccuracies (some rather random and quite obvious, such as a TV appearing) and the translators don't quite seem to have a grasp on titles, it is a fascinating manga and well worth anyone's time to read.

Amazing Book submitted by gxl on July 14, 2012, 4:03pm The art is amazing, the plot is amazing, everything about this book is amazing! Sad it is still ongoing!

Fascinating submitted by kzheng on June 15, 2015, 2:13pm This story is set in Victorian England. The Mai. Characters, Sebastian and ciel phantom hive are both creepy and mysterious. Sebastian turns out to be one hell of a butler only because he is from a hell a demon.
