COMMUNITY REVIEWS

gymnastics submitted by karenkay on July 12, 2011, 10:11am Rachel and Kirsty are two friends who find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. To their surprise, it holds no gold. Instead, it holds a fairy who needs their held. So begins the stories of Rachel and Kirsty’s friendship with fairies. In each series, they are helping different fairies to find objects in the real world before the goblins find them and deliver them to their evil master Jack Frost. Gemma must find her magic hoop from the goblins. By the way, hoops are not used in regular gymnastics -- only in rhythmic gymnastics!

Great submitted by LuckyDuck on June 30, 2012, 7:27pm good childhood books

good for beginning readers submitted by unknown on August 17, 2013, 10:49pm The subject material is pretty fluffy. Personally I get annoyed by "girly" products that make it seem as if true conflict never exists in a girly world. But I understand the reason for it and the good news about this whole series is that there is very little in there to trouble most parents. The content is whitewashed thoroughly. My daughter has probably read 20 of these books (there are many many many more) from varying series and so far I haven't seen anything to be of concern. And she enjoyed them enough to want to read more - excellent news for the parent of a child who isn't an avid reader!

They are good practice for young readers (probably around 1st/2nd grade) but any older than that will not be challenged and will get bored quickly.

Maybe... submitted by zoe.dvh on August 7, 2014, 2:00pm Its great for young, early readers. The one thing I dont like about it is that it is so repetitive and predictable
