Watching it now.. not as bad as your run of the mill sci fi or fantasy soap operas. submitted by Tassos on February 28, 2021, 2:49pm ALthough 25 years old already, (it is NOT a 2009 film, as you claim here) and although its computer graphics and other tools are rather naive and antiquated, the movie is far better than your average god-awful Star Trek or Star Wars or 99 out of 100 other so-called sci fi soap operas. I will say more after it ends, but one hard to believe thing is that the nuclear devices exploded, the comet broke in one small and one larger piece, and BOTH are still coming towards the Earth??? They spent tens of millions making the movie, why couldn't they pay a half-decent scientist or engineer $10 grand to tell them that this is NONSENSE?
