I saw this in the theater twice when it came out submitted by Nehemiah9 on July 29, 2019, 10:06am Definitely mind blowing and they did his heroes arc perfectly. The special effects were ground breaking and they did a pretty good job with the script and character development. Even the score worked even though it's very 1999. It still holds up today.

Amazing submitted by RebeccaWittekindt on July 3, 2023, 9:08pm This is one of those movies that will be impossible to watch the same way now as when it came out. Not as much for the effects, which are still quite good even after decades of innovations. More because when I first watched it, I had no idea there was this entire other reality within the movie. I thought it looked like a cool action movie with really cool scenes, but it really ended up being like the trip down the rabbit hole. Still enjoy watching it today, because even knowing how it ends, it’s still such a great trip.
