This second book in the Demon Cycle series starts in a very different place than the first left off, but that actually adds to the richness of the storyline in wonderful ways. At half way through the book, I was sighing with satisfaction that I still had more to read.

I will say that as all the romances drifted at about three-quarters of the way through, I felt like the storyline lost its focus just a touch, but not enough to pull my rating down a star. This still stands as a fantastic book, and my only disappointment is that I have to wait for the next installment.
