Quirky and Stands the Test of Time submitted by lisa on July 10, 2015, 1:08pm Beautiful landscapes and wide open inner spaces and interpersonal relationships--- that's the stuff of this film. Ironically, given that the movie starts out with the main character not speaking at all for more than a reel, the emotional climax of the film comes in a conversation.

Wim Wenders Rules.

Moody masterpiece submitted by kencza on August 5, 2019, 11:25pm Dysfunctional family relations are at the heart of this moody movie set in Texas and California. Personal favorite Harry Dean Stanton in his usual kind of role and Nastasia Kinski steals a scene or two in one of her more interesting performances. Kind of slow at times but an under current at all times.

Unwatchable Garbage. I kept going to the next ugly scene and it was over in 3 minutes. I could care less if Wenders is bigshot. submitted by Tassos on February 2, 2022, 4:00pm Thoroughly LOUSY movie. UNwatchable.
