I'm going to have to agree with the comment above
difficult!
perhaps the only reason to like this movie is the impossible nature of staging & shooting such a story familiar genre, mob picture, but as court drama must be restated comedy, because suspense found! Lacking in the jumble, it's not a funny movie, Vin Diesel does humanize an unlikable figure how ever "where's the punch line I didn't hear it!" you have to appreciate the amount of close ups needed in filming cross or giving argument! It's that a camera is in your face simply one lens where many eyes might be an done well! Diesel isn't convincing aged! Perhaps his playful nature an older, but eternal youth is part! None of the standards for a mob picture appear out side of extra or you'd a line really it's if not memorable lacking in premise bring reality to screen faithful actual events which took place, but well executed! Or, better stated attempted?
