Another great story by Camilleri submitted by Jessamynrm on July 6, 2015, 9:46pm The existential and world weary (but always hungry) Commissario Montalbano is back, this time investigating a murder with a nameless, faceless victim. As with all the Montalbano books, this one strikes a good balance between the crime and the political and social environment of the protagonist who battles corruption, bureucracy, and his own worst impulses in a small town in Sicily. It is both funny and deadly serious, and overall a great read. The translation notes in the back are an added bonus as they tell a lot about Sicilian and Italian cikture.
