"A Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire Mystery"--Container.

Compact discs.
Narrated by Johanna Parker.
After an unfortunate incident, Sookie finds herself beholden to a group of Louisiana vampires. So she agrees to travel to Dallas with her undead boyfriend Bill and track down a missing vamp, but only if the vampires promise to let local humans go unharmed. That seems easier said than done when an upstart religious cult threatens to destroy all things vampire--including Sookie, who is quickly scheduled for sacrifice.

Sookie's second adventure
submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on August 17, 2013, 9:29pm
As the title suggestions, this is one of the few Sookie Stackhouse mysteries not set in the main character's home town of Bon Temps, Louisiana.
The second of Charlaine Harris' 13 Southern vampire mysteries, "Living Dead in Dallas" continues the adventures of psychic waitress Sookie Stackhouse and her vampire boyfriend Bill.
In this one, Sookie investigates the anti-vampire Fellowship of the Sun Church (an obvious parallel to homophobic churches in our world) and nearly gets killed as a result. Those watching the "True Blood" TV series based on these novels will know what happens in this novel.
Read the first Sookie book or you'll never understand the numerous, complex plot lines in this novel. The books have no great literary or redeeming value, but they are fun brain candy.
An Enjoyable Listen submitted by majean on August 16, 2018, 4:20pm I enjoy listening to this series.
