Princesses and wizards and thieves, oh my! submitted by marshd on June 18, 2011, 9:06am The story moved really well, and I really liked the characters. The beginning was a little confusing because of name differences, but things are explained later in the book. I also got a little overwhelmed by the love DODECAHEDRON between all the characters. Overall, though, I really enjoyed the book.

I've read all her books and i can't wait for the next one submitted by ferdoble on August 2, 2011, 3:42pm This is maybe my favorite living author, and probably only second to Roald Dahl in all (not to suggest that they have similar styles at all). Read her books, read all of her books, you will love them. Then you can wait with bated breath with me for the next one to come out.

This story is full of interesting places to imagin a a great plot that surges you through the many pages and leaves you wishing there were more. The characters are dynamic and interesting.

I will worn you though. I did read the next one. It still had some excellent writing, but just about nothing happened for the nearly 600 pages it took to finish. No plot.

Awesome submitted by Memoria1224 on July 11, 2012, 6:55pm This book is amazing! It is full of adventure and suspense. I loved reading this.

Great Series submitted by Jacy on June 16, 2013, 2:40pm One of several very good books.

Totally Fantabulous submitted by BingxinLi on June 17, 2014, 9:43pm This book is amazing and is the first book of an awesome series. The plot and the action never failed to keep me in suspense. I loved reading this!

SO GOOD! submitted by pbolz10 on August 2, 2014, 8:09pm It was a real pageturner. I just couldn't put it down!

feminist sword and sorcery submitted by ssands on June 28, 2015, 4:06pm The start of a really good series! It's full of action and adventure with characters who grow and change. Interestingly, there's a streak of feminism in here that only adds to the joy.

Really good submitted by c_zhang on June 28, 2019, 3:15pm It's really action-packed, but the pacing is just right. Not overwhelming, but I couldn't put it down.
