COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Season 3 is ok at best submitted by brady.emmett on August 1, 2011, 7:44pm Heroes has this interesting thing where they write smaller arcs over the course of a season called volumes. Season 3 has two volumes: "Villains" and "Fugitives".

During Villains, the various powered people try to develop a formula that will grant powers. The power balance moves back and forth. It's kind of a depressing volume.

In Fugitives, we get a Guantamo style roundup of the characters with abilities. The government has decided they are dangerous. There is a chase element to much of the volume.

Overall, it feels like the writers were flailing a bit. they couldn't quite get their stories right and kept trying new things instead of working to develop something all the way to the end. We get way too much Sylar trying to decide to be good or bad, but never really figuring it out. Overall, just kind of ok. Not great, but you won't be bored stiff.
