Too Much Passive Voice! submitted by KPNF on August 7, 2015, 6:01am This is another book that follows the formula of "Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site". My son really enjoyed the illustrations (as did I) so we read it many times. However, the writing drove me crazy, because for some reason the author used passive voice when she could have simply used an active voice. I am not sure why an editor did not revise the text.
