Multicultural reading for the classroom submitted by kittenkat101 on August 10, 2015, 10:46am This book explains how the way we speak affects the way that people think about us. This is especially important in a classroom where students may speak differently than teachers--no one should assume someone is less intelligent based on their dialect. Very important book, brings up lots of things to consider as a teacher.
