Really good submitted by poptart887 on June 15, 2015, 2:42pm This book is really good. About a young woman in hard times deparate to keep the children in her care safe from the government. She happens upon a gentleman who looks past the childrens' ethnicity and invites them into his home for the night. They end up staying until after christmas. The young woman and the gentlman get married adopt two of the four children and make sure that the other two are seen safely home to their family. The young woman's astranged brother makes an appearance at the end and reconsiles with her.
