Awesome book submitted by Cami K on July 28, 2011, 8:28pm This is an awesome read with a Michigan connection. One of the stories Mitch Albom tells is of Pastor Henry Covington's life. He ran a homeless shelter out of his dilapidated church in downtown Detroit until his death last December. His wife and other members of the church have continued his work. Until Mitch Albom wrote about this, the church had a hole in the roof, which has since been repaired. The other story line about his childhood rabbi is equally moving. Mitch Albom has a gift for story telling and it shows in this true story.

The story of faith and religion, the paths of two very differnent Rebs. One a man of Jewish faith and one a man of Christianity. As well as the spritual growth on Mitch himself. A very good read.
