"A celebration of the triumph of true love. As Ehwa grew from a girl to a young woman in The Color of Earth and The Color of Water, she began to understand and experience love and relationships, with her mother as a model and confidante. Now, in the heartwarming conclusion to this lyrically written and delicately drawn trilogy, Ehwa's true love comes at last, and as her mother looks on, she takes the final steps towards becoming an adult"--Publisher's web site.

Stunningly beautiful submitted by David Marshall on August 23, 2012, 2:10pm This culmination of Ehwa's sexual awakening was wonderful to read. The trilogy had a lot of awkward moments that were perfectly appropriate for the themes of the book, but sometimes difficult to get through. This final chapter made all those struggles worth reading; it was so lovely I almost cried. I loved it. I will probably buy it. Read it. Buy it for your children and talk with them about sex.
An excellent conclusion submitted by Marina_Hope on July 24, 2023, 11:24am Extremely rare is the trilogy that maintains an uniform standard of quality, however The Color of Heaven holds up as a fullfilling conclusion to an vibrant and complex saga. Since this is a story of the journey from childhood to adulthood, I strongly recommend this book to everyone but especially teenagers.
