All Star Cast in Washington DC Political Thriller submitted by ekjensen on August 18, 2021, 4:53pm No spoiler alert here. Former college roommates messy long haired big newspaper investigator reporter (Russell Crowe) and slick suited congressman (Ben Affleck) cross paths intensely because of the murder the latter's aide/lover at the same time the latter is investigating big contract award to a monopolistic mercenary machine corporation. Well done with very good supporting cast (e.g., Helen Mirren, Rachel McAdams)
