Ahhh submitted by leett on July 3, 2013, 10:46pm When I read this, I had roller coaster emotions. Rose is going to kill the guy she loves. I thought the Russian setting was creepy. I did not think Dimitri was someone I could love in this book.
Good Book submitted by Midnight on July 4, 2013, 7:40am I don't want to give anything away. Rose is torn in her heart.
Really Good...Except Where It Isn't submitted by mrajraspn08 on August 17, 2013, 1:52pm I tell everyone how much I love the unique and innovative world Richelle Mead has created in her Vampire Academy series. But this one slips away from that a little bit. Spirit users are becoming tiresomely rampant, and the love story of Rose and Dmitri almost cloyingly saccharine. While still good, I'm worried that the series will become another teenage vampire cliché with the next book. Still love, still recommend it, still reading the next book...but where it used to be a 10, now it's dropped to about a 8 1/2, 9.
