COMMUNITY REVIEWS
Textile artists may enjoy this submitted by teri on July 5, 2016, 9:34am If you're looking for an in-depth explanation of the numerous shibori techniques - this is for you. Wonderful documentary, including shibori artisans from the Arimatsu area, each demonstrating the intricacies of stitching and dying. Fascinating viewing for textile artists, hand stitchers and dyers. For those looking for a basic overview of shibori, this may be a bit much.. It is long (155 minutes) , and the background music at times can feel tedious.
