COMMUNITY REVIEWS

more good scandinavian fiction submitted by manz on August 25, 2009, 12:36pm I'm always up for good Scandinavian fiction, and when I saw that AADL had some translations (by Bernard Scudder, who is now deceased, but is totally the man for English-Icelandic translations) of another Icelandic author, I was all over it! It was nice seeing a female lawyer tangled up in withcraft and college kids.

These two by her are not as great as Arnaldur Indridason's series (which are my favorite!), but they were fun, and it was nice to get lost in Iceland again, which is something I could do every day. Gray skies and mossy rolling hills are where it's at, but beware the lava rocks.
