Billy Boyle mysteries submitted by SuzanneT on February 13, 2019, 1:54pm Benn's mystery/historical stories about an Irish-American Boston cop caught up in WWII are well-written, intricately-plotted, engaging, and enlightening (as to History). I'm a senior citizen and have to admit that my elhi classes never provided much of the WWII fact-based events provided as backdrops for Benn's books. Read them in order. The characters are well-developed over time.
