Great art history lesson! submitted by wendylv on July 18, 2014, 6:26am This is a fun video for a car trip. Kids and adults will both enjoy the story of Van Gogh's life and the many examples of his beautiful paintings. This story doesn't shy away from the difficulties Van Gogh faced and it finds a sensitive way to present his life-long struggle with mental illness.
Used it at bedside submitted by ccrose on August 29, 2019, 8:59pm Parts of the video are useful working one on one with people with memory loss. I show ten minutes or less then use a book to start a conversation. Van Gogh’s fields and trees are good place to start. The colors are always enjoyed.
