Fast-paced mystery submitted by teri on August 7, 2019, 8:40pm The ending does leave a few loose ends, and many questions. If you're reading the whole series of Louise Penny books, this isn't a problem. But if this is a one-off for you - just know that you should read the next book (as mentioned in one of the other reviews)!

Great book submitted by amym on August 26, 2021, 12:47am This is my favorite of the Inspector Gamache books, but I love all of the books in the series. The emphasis is always more on the characters and their motivations rather than who done it.
