Every Power Ballad Has Its Key Change submitted by Meginator on July 14, 2011, 12:04pm Let's be honest: this isn't a compilation of the best songs ever recorded. Nor does it include the best songs recorded by these particular artists. What we have, instead, is an examination of a genre, particularly interesting or successful examples that showcase the softer side of some of rock's heavier outfits. And indeed, you know the songs; this is what makes the album so enjoyable. Though I recommend listening to the album in spurts, as the cliches (both musical and lyrical) can quickly become overwhelming, "Now That's What I Call Power Ballads" certainly delivers on its promise and, musical quality of contents aside, you can't really fault them for that. The CD fully and satisfactorily delivers on its promise; whether it's a promise you'd like to follow up on is up to you.

Good submitted by Chris82 on July 31, 2011, 3:21pm This album contains a compilation of the best 80s "power ballads" ever made. A must for children of the 80s.
