The Last Olympian

The last book in the series is again very cheesy. I think part of my issue with this series is that Percy is not believable as a person. He’s flat. There’s no way for the reader to connect with him. Reading this book was the first time I was indifferent about the fate of the “hero”, and I even hoped for his death at one point as that would redeem the character a bit. Everything is tied up in a nice little bow at the end of the story, which is the perfect way to end this mediocre series.

My favourite book! YOU MUST READ!!!

WOW, what a great series. Very formulaic, but still very good, you’ll see what I mean. It made me want to go review my old ancient empire text books.
