Intriguing, enough...

...once you stop wondering if they're just dirtbags and this is going nowhere but chaos. The story structure is a little odd and back-heavy. Meaning you have to get through what appears to be a lot of episodic nihilism. And they really bury the lead: watch the guy playing the local crew boss--that's the director and writer and the real life subject of the movie (Ruffalo's part.) I would have liked to have caught on to that earlier. It might have helped me better understand what to focus on here.
