Pounding Industrial Metal submitted by Meginator on August 11, 2021, 5:15pm Static-X has an interesting and somewhat unique take on industrial music and metal, taking elements from each genre and fusing them into something that sounds modern even a decade after it was recorded. The core is built on crunching metal guitars and a half-sung, half growled vocal style with additions of guitar solos and minor synth effects and loops. I didn’t catch many of the lyrics on a first listen, so I cannot comment on the lyrical content.
