COMMUNITY REVIEWS

The subject of this good movie is explainable because it was made a LONG time ago, in 2006 and not in 2020-22! submitted by Tassos on January 20, 2022, 5:55pm This was for the most part a pleasant to watch movie. However, before I found out it was made a LONG time ago, in 2006, I found it way beyond the times and utterly unrealistic.

When I saw this DVD, it was only 3 days after the President of UM, who chose to think with his genitals and not his brain, whatever brains he had, was FIRED by the Board of REgents, for having an affair with a subordinate. The clown was married to his college sweetheart and had 4 kids, but apparently he wasn't satisfied. BEcause he was FIRED in DISGRACE, he lost more than $3,000,000 according to my estimates. If he retired in 2023 as planned, he would get two more years fully paid (at $927,000 per Year!) and alll the other big benefits and expense accounts he would have until he retired, incl. the 11,000 sqft president's mansion free living!

In this movie, some clown allegedly professor of music, played by short bald and ugly Ben Kingsley, fools around with a gorgeous student of his (Penelope Cruz), who is 30_++ years his Junior. I am not naive, and know that 30 years ago, such shenanigans were common. But vieweing the film in the wake of the Schiessel disgraceful firing, the movie has become OBSOLETE. It was still well made and acted.
