Ghostwriter?
submitted by jaegerla on October 4, 2009, 1:27pm
This gets an ambiguous 2.5 for a few reasons:
1) I did not actually finish the book
2) I only half enjoyed it. Occasionally it was interesting, and just as often it seemed made up.
3) It had the feel of being written by a ghost writer. It's entirely possible Russell Brand did write his autobiography, but it could have easily been written by someone imitating him.
If someone else is succesful at finishing it please write a review so the rest of us will know if it's worth the effort or not, or if it's at least overally funny.
One section that was worth checking out the book was the photographs included. They were well captioned.
Funny, Shocking and Oddly Poinant

I enjoyed this book. I imagine it takes someone who is somewhat liberal to do so, as the book could definitely offend some.
What most surprised me about this book is the vocabulary. I learned many new words and bits of English slang-- which I found to be quite fun.
The authors humor and introspective nature made this book a fun, fast and sometimes thoughtful read:)
okay submitted by lawrencekl57 on July 29, 2012, 12:08pm I adore Russell Brand, but I found this book to be BORING. I guess he's better to listen to than to read.
