visually compelling
This is a series of short stories with amazing, complex illustrations. It is really visually compelling, and the stories are interesting in their own right. My favorite was Distant Rain, while my 11yo son especially liked the ending of our expedition. And the water buffalo who gives advice? I wish we had one on our street!
