Fun, but derivative submitted by Juliettie on June 25, 2011, 9:41pm Fun read, but uncomfortably similar to Remember Me? (written as Sophie Kinsella). The mysteries of who has fathered Isobel's baby and who tells the vicar of Milly's first marriage are intriguing enough, but found out too quickly. Again, there's the theme of a woman trying to be someone she is not in order to keep a man above her social class. Maybe that's a British lit theme, but having read it twice in a month in this author's works, I've had enough of it. I do really wish we'd have gotten a glimpse of Olivia's reaction to learning who the father of Isobel's baby is. That would have made a delightful scene. Another fun beach read, though.
