Nicole Spicer ("Nick" to her friends) is a tomboy through and through. While her classmates chatter about shopping and lip gloss, Nick's more interested in the newest basketball shoes at the Athlete's foot. But everything changes when she meets a cutie named Ben. The only problem? He seems to go for the girly girls like the beautiful and perfect Hannah, Nick's rival on the basketball team. So when Nick's best friend Lindsay suggests a make over, Nick reluctantly goes along-and finds she's in a bit over her head. Can Nick change her looks and still be true to herself?
When Nicolette Spicer, Nick to her friends, meets Ben who seems to go for girly girls, Nick, who is a tomboy, considers a makeover.
