Call Her a Pretty Good Singer submitted by Meginator on August 21, 2021, 9:28am These tracks all occupy a similar mellow musical mode, but Lee Ann Womack’s vocal talent brings a unique spirit to each of them, really drawing out the meaning of the lyrics. Musically, the album is a bit of a throwback to the classic country ballad; these songs have plenty of twang to them but blend it with a more modern pop sensibility that suits Womack’s voice quite well. These tracks offer a good balance of the old and the new, anchored by excellent vocal talent and strong lyrical content.
