Not lost submitted by FordAlpha on August 21, 2018, 10:34pm The "Fly Guy" books are well constructed, humorous stories for beginning readers. It's easy to sympathize with quirky young Buzz, the boy who keeps a fly for a pet. Here, Buzz's parents worry that Fly Guy will get lost at every stop on their family road trip, but ironically, it's the parents who get lost on their way home. Fortunately, Fly Guy's sight is so keen that by flying high in the sky, he can see the way home and guide the family there (apparently, a pet fly is better than GPS). Like most of the "Fly Guy" stories, the story is just the right length and the plot has just the right amount of tension to keep an early reader engaged but not frustrated until the happy ending.
