San Francisco is the hippest city in America, and right in the middle of it are the residents of 28 Barbary Lane. In the early 80's, San Francisco was a sunny, comfortable place where everyone smiled most of the time, possibly because sex was rarely further than a wink and a nod away, as this installment of the series makes clear. The various inhabitants of Mrs. Madrigals building are living the San Francisco high life to the fullest as unusual adventure, menacing coincidences, and road trips abound.
DVD, Region 1, Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround, Dolby Digital 2.0 stereo, widescreen presentation aspect ratio 1.85:1.
Contents: Further tales of the city.

COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Further tales submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on August 22, 2012, 2:11pm This series was one of the first I ever saw on TV with positive portrayals of gay and transgender character. It was also the first tiime I saw Laura Linney, whose acting is supurb.
Based on the Armisted Maupin series that begins in 1970s San Francisco, we follow the lives of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender characters as they solve mysteries and fall in love.
I highly recommend the TV series and the books even more!
