COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Charlotte Bronte's best submitted by howarde on August 3, 2017, 7:17pm I know everybody loves Jane Eyre, but Villette is a wonderfully mature work. It's a bit grittier than Jane Eyre, but features many of the same elements--ghostly mystery, school girls to be dealt with, a prickly love interest. The heroine Lucy Snowe has a mind to revel in, and she's one of my favorite literary characters.
