Yeah, he was smart and all, in his way, but ... submitted by lisa on August 20, 2015, 9:27am ... this collection of rants feels almost disingenuous. Particularly Carlin's going on about how supposedly all children are winners, everyone gets a trophy, etc., feels more like trotting out some old cultural trope than a salient or accurate bit of critical observation from the detached distance (some might say aloofness) that gives "old f***" George his humorous perspective.

But maybe I was just feeling curmudgeonly when it came time to give this one a listen in the car.
