total recall submitted by qmomo on July 24, 2019, 2:03am this is a violent action-packed arnold vehicle from the director who brought the world robocop and an intriguing exploration of mindbending sci fi concepts. for my money this is a better philip k dick adaptation than blade runner. it captures that feeling of an ambiguous relationship to reality, like the rug is always in danger being pulled out from under you. it seems like it could possibly have had some influence on later 90s movies like the game, the matrix, and existenz.
