COMMUNITY REVIEWS

meh - just ok submitted by andyer on July 15, 2011, 7:57pm I love Charlize Theron and sci-fi, but this was just ok. Get this if nothing else looks good.

Pretty, but not edgy submitted by pkooger on February 28, 2012, 3:21pm I liked the aesthetic of this film. Most sci-fi goes straight for the dark, rainy, dystopia where everybody wears leather and/or grey rags (I'm looking at you, Matrix). Aeon Flux really tried to capture the feel of a technicolor future world where society's happiness is only skin deep. Unfortunately, the plot itself wasn't very deep either. There's a "big twist" towards the end, but it's not terribly shocking. There were some fun action battles and cool futuristic gadgets, so it was okay, all things considered. If you're in the mood for a fluffy sci-fi piece with sexy femmes fatale, look no further.

Wonderful movie submitted by SNG on July 18, 2023, 1:08pm One of the best movies of Charlize Theron.
