Serious, not cute.
I guess "The Incredible Journey" meets "ET" might sum it up. A dog, a cat, and a rabbit have been weaponized by the government(?) and work as a team of cyborg assassins. When their program gets decommissioned (they are to be destroyed), they escape and go in search of "home".
The violence is pretty gory. Their rudimentary language skills make the story particularly heartbreaking. Not a happy book but worthwhile.

GUD Dog, Cat and Rabbit
WE3 is about weaponized house pets.. Cybernetic enhanced pets. The main characters are "1" a dog, "2" a cat and "3" a rabbit. My first thoughts were that this is an action comic with cute characters and a cheesy plot line. As I read through the graphic novel my second thoughts were more along the lines of these aren't cute characters and this is wrong. At one point I thought I don't like this comic about animal testing and vivisection but I kept on and I actually enjoyed the book.
Grant Morrison is an excellent writer, sometimes I scratch my head an wonder how he comes up with his ideas.
