COMMUNITY REVIEWS

positive Latino movie submitted by unknown on November 11, 2008, 8:13am Bella is about love. A family member experiences an catastrophic event. The family copes. Jose, somehow, survives. In this film, he starts to recover. We find out by little flash-backs what happened. This is a beautiful, gentle film. The actors are not well known. They are perfect in the roles. It is mostly filmed in New York City. We see the back stage of the city. The score is wonderful. Everything comes together to create a gem. I recommend the extras. The director/writer very movingly discusses his reasons for creating the film. I believe that it is important to seek out these, so called, "small" films. This film was really lucky, because the Latino community got behind it.
