One of the Best submitted by tree64 on August 5, 2011, 6:47am This was probably my second favorite book in the Ranger's Apprentice series, due to the action. It was action packed, because the whole book was basically a war between the Skandians, and Temuj. I would really recommend this book, and if you have not read this series before, I would suggest that you read it.
Great book!!!!!!!!!

cool submitted by AbbyJNg on June 16, 2012, 8:09am I like how the "hero" becomes the weak one and the one you wouldn't expect- the girl- becomes the hero.
Awesome submitted by jenny2012 on July 21, 2012, 2:47pm It was good. In the end, there was an all out battle.
Review on the 4th Ranger's Apprentice book: The Battle for Skandia submitted by shalinigurl on August 28, 2012, 7:15pm In this book you start up from the end of book 3 where Evanlyn and Will are abducted by the Skadians to there native homeland Skandia. There they are sold as slaves with Will working in the yard and Evanlyn works in the kitchen. Their abductor helps them escape when he realizes how addicted Will gets to this drug called warmweed. Halt and Horace arrive later on and find a recovered WIll and Evanlyn. Skandia is under attack and Halt helps them fight off the enemies. In the end everyone finds out Evanlyn is actually Princess Cassandra daughter of the King of Araluen and they all get back safely.

Exciting! submitted by liebermanjanice on July 30, 2023, 4:34pm We thoroughly enjoyed this. There's a lot of excitement with the big battle near the end. And things are much better for Will in this book than in #3. :)
