Originally released as a motion picture in 1961.

Pongo and Perdita have a litter of 15 dalmatian puppies. Cruella De Vil takes a fancy to the puppies and tries to buy them from their human owners, Roger and Anita. Cruella wants to get ahold of those puppies, as well as more puppies, to make herself a lovely dalmatian skin coat. Cruella hires some thugs to kidnap the puppies and hold them at an abandoned mansion. Now Pongo and Perdita must use an animal communication system to help find all the puppies.

I enjoy the music, the classic pacing (nothing face-paced and frenetic about this movie) and the genuine emotion it evokes (my daughter cried when she thought the puppies were really gone). And Cuella De Vil is one of the best Disney villains.

101 Dalmatians submitted by SBNB on June 15, 2019, 1:14pm My kids (5 and 2) and I enjoyed watching this movie together. It wasn't too scary for the kiddos and they liked seeing all the dogs. Plus, there was a bit of nostalgia for me.
